Will it hurt to be 12 hours lake taking my birth control pill?

I forgot to get my birth control (Ortho Low) script filled and my pharmacy is closed until Monday. I'm supposed to start my new pack of pills on Sunday night, 10:00 pm. I've only been on the pill for a month. Will it throw me off if I take my pill 12-14 hours late? Will I need to use a condom for the next month? Please only answer if you know for sure!! (Any nurses or doctors out there?)

No, you won't need to use condoms for an entire month. Because you are taking your first pill late, I would suggest using condoms for 7 days after that pill. If you read your pill pamphlet, it will tell you the same information. It takes 7 days to aqquire full protection after missing or taking a late pill.
yeah that early use a condom.
Rule of thumb- if ANYTHING goes wrong with your bcp use a condom for one month afterward.
I got pregnant... only missed one pill.
no it wount hurt but u will need to use protection u do anyways cuz the pill is 99% accurate
just follow your doctors' instructions...simple phone call, if you don't remember what they are
