How Long Do You Need To Be On The Birth Control Pill For It To Work...?

How Long Do You Need To Be On The Birth Control Pill For It To Work...?

If you start the pills on day 1 of your period, then you should be fine. If you start anytime after your period starts, then you need to use condoms for at least 7 days. Birth control is great because not only does it prevent pregnancy, it also regulates your period too!
depends on the pill,.. most of them make you wait 7 days,.. but i would wait 30 .//
It actually is effective right away when you start taking it.
Depends on when you start it. If you start it within 5 days of when your period started even if you're bleeding, it's effective immediately. Otherwise, it takes about a week to take full effect.
You need to take it on the first day of your period and then you're instantly covered!
If you take it on another day (off your period) then you have to use other contraceptives (condom) for 7 days after your first pill.
If you are about to be on your period there's not much point in starting the pill, wait untill your period.

Hope it helps :)
I'm on the contraceptive pill
You need to use condoms for month after you begin any type of birth control pill. be careful
