If I have my period in the middle of a birth-control pill cycle, what is wrong? |
I have a week and a half left of my pill cycle but I started my period today. I have not missed taking any pills and have been consistant with my pill taking so what is going on? Since you said that you didn't miss any pills, it could be that you need a stronger dosage. Breakthrough bleeding shouldn't happen when you are on the pill. You should make an appointment and talk to your doc about changing your pills... especially if it happens again. how long have you been on birth control? that's pretty normal in the first few months you're on it as your body adjusts. if it's been longer, it's still probably nothing to worry about, but you might want to ask your doc. How long have you been taking your pills?? I was spotting a week before my period was supposed to start...i think its pretty normal what your going thru... this can be cause because the estrogen levels are to low in the control pill you may need to start a new brand talk to your doctor he or she will help this happened to me and i became anemic had to change pills and the problem was solved anemic because i bleed for to long make sure to contact your doctor so this doest happen to you the pill is not working its not normal you should get checked out |
