Does anyone else seem to be gaining weight while on the birth control pill, ortho tricylen lo? |
Ever since I started taking ortho tricyclen lo., I have had an outrageous appetite. I am always hungry and am scared I will gain a bunch of weight. Does anyone else have this problem? I was on that pill for awhile and I did gain a little weight. It wasnt a whole lot but it was like 5 to 10 pounds that fluctuated for awhile. Unfortunately, almost every pill out there has a side effect of weight gain. The shot is even worse. Every girl i know who has gone on the shot has gained like 15 pounds at least. I think the patch causes it too. So if you are on any of these things, just be careful about what you eat and be mindful of your weight and you should be fine. I also gained a ton of weight on this medication... along with mood swings, depression and moments of aggression! Talk with you Ob/GYN or prescribing physician. It may not be the right b/c for you. i have gained about 10 pounds while on this pill. Ive been drinking it for a year |
