I am currently taking the Low-Ogestrel-28 birth control pill but I am thinking about switching to the newer brand LoEstrin 24 Fe but I am very unsure. I have read that it make cause weight gain and shorter periods but I need to hear from women who have actually tried this pill and not some advertisement.
I took loestrin for 6 months for endometriosis and it was the first birth control that I've been on, that I actually liked. It does cause shorter periods because that's the whole point of having 24 pills and 4 iron pills. As for the weight gain, I don't know about other people, but this was the first birth control that I was able to lose weight on, and I've gained a lot from others. So hope that helps. |
