Do I have to get prescription from hospital for buy the birth control pill?

How can i buy the birth control pill from pharmacy?
Do I have to get prescription from hospital?
Thank you.

No you don't actually. If you're sexually active you should go to a gynecologist every year to get an exam and make sure everything kosher, and they can give you a script. But if you don't want to do that you can go to your local health department and the woman department will give them to you. I believe you have to pay something, but theres no exam involved and your parents wont have to know. play safe. Source(s): Citrus County Health Department
In the U.S., you have to have a doctor's prescription for the pill.
You need a prescription from your family dr. or your OB/GYN dr.
You can go to your local heath dept and they will give you a prescription. Just ask for family planning
