I had a baby boy on August 13th, and my doctor just perscribed me Marvelon "A Birth Control Pill"? |
I haven't started taking my "Marvelon Pills" yet, because it said it might make me sick to my stomach. I am scared of vomiting, because the last time I threw up I was only seven. I'm seventeen now. My question is, are you on Marvelon "The Birth Control Pill"? If you are, has it made you feel sick to your stomach? Most birth control pills have the possibility of causing nausea, but so many people take them, and so few ever have to stop because of this side effect. Think of it this way. The morning sickness from your next (soon if you don't take the pill) pregnancy will make you a whole lot more nauseous. Unfortunately throwing up is part of being human and it happens to everyone. The odds that the pill will make you so sick that you will throw up are very low. Try it out and see how it affects you. Bottom line is at 17 with a baby, you need to be using some form of effective birth control, and the pill is one of the most effective methods when used correctly. Wow, this must be really new!!!! Never even heard of it!! Don't worry. Try it out. It may or it may not. It just depends on the person. Life is full of chance. If you do vomit, see your doctor. I'd be less worried about vomiting than getting pregnant again...you are 17, and you've just had a baby? Nausea and vomiting, usually the most common adverse reaction, occurs in approximately 10% or less of patients during the first cycle. Dang u HAD A BABY and ur worried about vomiting...OOKKKAAYY. I have never heard of these pills but every BC has side affects and almost all of them include nausea and vomiting and because I work in the medical profession I always hear my docs say to female patients that drug companies have to list every possible symptom on the insert to cover their butt, so that very well means that u may vomit and you may not, u would just have to take them and see. In the event that u do vomit don't stop taking the pill, if it keeps happening then you would need to contact your physician and maybe he can put u on something else. Good luck girl, whenever in doubt about your heath, contact you physican. Are these pills generic because I never heard of them before? |
