Is there a certain time of day that it is best to take your birth control pill?

I was wondering if there was a certain time of the day that it is best to take the pill. I used to take it in the AM and had to deal with side effects such as nausea. I started taking it at night on my next cycle and the only issue I have now is bloating. Same pill, just different time of day. I do know that I must take the pill the same time everyday in order for it to be effective. Are there any suggestions or is this all coincidence? Thanks!!

You can take it at any time of the day, so long as it's taken at the same time every day. This time should be a time that is convenient for YOU, when you won't forget to take it.
I don't think that it makes a difference what time of day you take it as long as it is taken at the same time everyday.

I think the side effects you are having are from the pill and not from when you take it. Speak to your doctor about it
