Can i become pregnant if i finished my second pack of birth control, im on the non hormone pills(sugar pills)?

i know that it is not 100% effective. i was wondering.. am i still being protected if im having unprotected sex and im on the non hormone part of the pack (sugar pills)?..i took the pills EVERYDAY and at the SAME TIME.

You will be just as protected when you are on your "sugar pill week" as when you are taking the "active" pills. That's the point of the pill, that you're protected all the time as long as you are taking the pills correctly, which it sounds like you are.

Read the package insert.
Its always good to use a condom with the pill since the pill isn't 100% effective.
Sorry to tell you ,,better safe then sorry .I was one of those that got pregnant while drinking the"pill" so becareful Gigi
It shouldn't make a difference whether you are taking the placebos or the ones with estrogen. The placebos still contain a small amount of estrogen, but not as much as the regular pills you take 3 weeks out of the month.

Like you said, it is not 100% effective, but if you have been taking them regulary they should be providing pretty good proctection.
