HELP Birth control, when should I start taking new pills?

It is my 2nd month on the pill. I had a normal period the first month. This month my period started a week early. I continued taking my pills. Now it is the 1st day of the week I should have my period and not be taking a pill. Since my period was early should I start a new pack now or should I just not take any this week and start them next week as they were scheduled??

STAY ON SCHEDULE. TAKE ONE PILL A DAY, EVERY DAY. FINISH ALL YOUR PILLS. WHEN OR IF YOU BLEED SHOULD NEVER, EVER CHANGE HOW YOU TAKE YOUR PILLS. NEVER, EVER. If you change things you will be making yourself vulberable to pregnancy. Source(s): I am health care provider at a family planning clinic.
hmm. this is tricky...ask your gyno, but continue with your 2nd month unless the doc says otherwise
If you've taken the whole pack, you can have a 7 day break from active pills. You will be protected. You can also just start a new pack. This will not compromise your protection. Since you are just now adjusting to the pill, you should have your break from active pills.
Just keep taking them how youre supposed to.eventually your periods will regulate.
STAY ON SCHEDULE! It takes up to 3 months for your body to adjust to a new birth control pill. Your periods can be really screwy the first few months, but you need to stick with it. Make sure you take your pill at the same time every day. That is especially important if you are taking the low dose or mini pills. They are only effective for about 23 hours...take a pill a few hours late and you aren't protected.
