When you start birth control (for the first time) when its time to take the pills that arnt active when do you


usualy start you period?
I start the pill on a Sunday, and i have now been on the non active pill since sunday. WHen should i ecpect to get my period? is it normal to not get one the first time you use birth controll?

When I was on the pill and started them on Sundays, I always started on Thursdays and was done by the following Sunday. Everyone is different. You will have it this week. It may shift around too. You could have it at the beginning of the week, and then move to the end and vice verse.
The inactive pills are really just to keep you in routine, they lack the hormone and thats what jump starts your period. You should start 1-2 days after you take the inactive pills. Once you start back on your regular your period should stop within the same amount of time. You might spot throught the month depending on the type of pill you are on. Generally it takes 3-6 months before your body will get regulated to the birth control. So don't stress if you spot a little, and never be afraid to call your Dr. with a question. They have heard it all...lol
You shouldn't miss your period when you first get on the pill. I am not sure when you will get your period but i start taking my sugar pills on Saturday and i get my period on Wednesday.

I guess you will just have to wait and see
Your period is expected to be messed up for the first two months (even better when it is not messed up!) of taking BC the first time. So if its abnormal after the first 2 months, tell your doc and see what she has to say about it.
