What is the best pill for Birth Control!!!!?

I don't want to gain weight!! I am getting off the DEPO shot to get on the pill but I need some advice!

I would suggest Ortho Tri Cyclen or Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo (The lower dose). Ortho Tri Cyclen is proven to help clear up acne. My friend takes it and she hasn't gained any weight, she's maintaned her weight. She loves it! The lower does works just as well. Talk to you ob/gyn and see what's right for you and your body.

All depends how your body reacts to each different pill! It takes a few months to adjust to each new pill though!
yes i agree with lizze, they say that you react different to any other birth-controls. But latley they published that they made a chewable birth control pill, why dont you try that out?
This is a good question for your doctor. I was just put on Ortho-tricyclen-lo, and I'm waiting to start my first round. Like everyone said, each body reacts differently to different forms of birth control.

If you experiance initial weight gain, it will probably not be significant amounts. 5-10 pounds at the worst. My mother recently told me that I would gain a lot of weight on the pill since it "runs in the family," but I just think that has something to do with the extra estrogen causing a person to be overly-emotional (thus stress eating).

I would talk to my doctor about Ortho Lo, since it's safer and has less side effects.
You were proably on the Depo shot because you didn't want to deal with taking a pill every day.

Seriously consider Nuvaring. It sits up near your cervix. You slip it in and leave it for 3 weeks, take it out for one. You don't know it is there, and you can't feel it during sex. It is a wonderful option if you don't want a daily pill. The website offers a pc reminder to take it on and put it in, or they will send you a cute little timer you can keep to remind you what day of your cycle you are on.
