Can you take the morning after pill with your normal everyday birth control?

i want to know first if its necessary. my boyfriend and i had sex tonight..im on the pill and was wondering if i should get the morning after pill to b/c we didnt use a condom.

next, if i do take it, will it have any kind of reaction w/ the pills im already taking?

Well if youve been on the birth control pill for a while now, then you dont need the morning after pill. The point of the birth control pill is to not get pregnant so I dont think its necessary to get a morning after pill and your doctor would say the same thing. You could always ask your doctor though. If you havent been on the pill for a while and just recently started, then Im not sure if it could effect the effect of the birth control pill. However, you always want to be safe. Use a condom too this way, you now only know youre protected from getting pregnant, but your risks of getting an STD is very low vs. having sex without a condom. It's better to be safe than sorry. Hope that helps!
No you should not take the morning after pill if you are on birth control pills and have not missed a dose. If you don't want to get pregnant then you need to not have sex.
No, if your on the pill your already doing what the morning after pill would do. As longs as your taking your pill regularly everyday you should be completely fine. I've been on it for a year now. No babies here.
if it's more than a month u r on pill no, but if it's the first month u should use condom, if u didn't u may have 2 HD pill now and 2 other 12 hours later, but if it's less than a month on pill
if you've taken your pill every day and didn't miss any, your good as gold, BUT if you did miss some call your doctors office.
i'm not even going to mention the risk of stds with no condom (i did, sorry)
