Birth Control:Confusing packaging!! I took the wrong pill :(? |
Hi! I just started on the pill.. i got my period 3 days ago and took my first pill on that day. However, I looked at the packet today, and realised that on the first day of my period i accidently took an 'inactive pill' and that i took 'active pills' yesterday and today.. (ie the second and third day of my period) What effect will this have? When will it be safe to have sex? Thanks!! The "inactive pills" are just reminder pills, they don't' do anything. It takes a couple months for the birth control to be effective. you have to wait more than a month for the pills to work anyway, so I would take the active pills and continue on. |
