There is no reliable study that proves that antibiotics affect pregnancy prevention by birth control pills, however if you are worried about getting pregnant there is never anything wrong with using more than one method of birth control at the same time, it is just not likely to be necessary. Remember than condom use will prevent std's and can be used in addition to the birth control pills.
