Can i get pregnant if i am on birth control but i am on the sugar pill week?


I was just wondering if i have sex when i am on the sugar pill can i get pregnant? I have been on the pill for more than 6 months but will i get pregnant or not?

I hope the ex pharmacy tech that answered this question before me made a typo when saying you can't get pregnant at any time.

The pill is only 98% effective and that is if you take the pill everyday at the same time without missing a dose.

You can't get pregnant during your period.
You can get pregnant during your period. (if your bc pills aren't working or you have missed days).

I was on it for years and I now have a 13 yr old daughter so I would say yes you can. In my case it was a bad batch of pills that was sent to my base overseas and there were a few of us in that situation. Anything is possible

You can't get pregnant at anytime while you are taking them. You have sugar pills so that you can have your period, you won't get pregnant.
