I just started a birth control pill called Yaz and since i've taken it i've had a 9 day+ period. What do I do?


I just did the Sunday Start to a birth Control pill called Yaz and I've now had my period for nine days (today is the ninth day and I still have it).

I've never use birthcontrol before should I stop taking the plls or is this normal with the first time you take them?

that is normal...your body is adjusting to you. When I first started on it my first period was 14 days but normal the next month
It certainly doesn't sound normal. I would talk to your doctor and ask about switching birth control.
this happends when you 1st start a new bc. IT IS NORMAL, that is what the doc will say... it is the side effects. They are different with everyone. I still have spotting every once in a while and ive been on it for months!
Im on Yaz, I like it.
You need to speak with the Dr. who prescribed you the pill. The Dr. will suggesst whether you should stay on the pill for another month or try another kind of pill.

Go see a doctor ASAP. This is what you get for taking a pill called Yaz in the first place. The pill hasn't been around that long and you are nothing but a lab rat. Don't let these people try out these "breakthrough" products on you.
you should definitely go to your gyneclogist. those pills are designed for you to have around 3 days of period. maybe those aren't the best for you
