Why would anyone be against birth control pills and other forms of contraception? |
After all, contraception doesn't cause anyone any suffering. In fact, it helps prevent suffering, since it prevents abortions AND it prevents children being born to mothers who are ill-prepared, psychologically and/or financially, to take care of them. peopole who beieve that life begins at conception can NOT approve of birth control, in that conception occurs, and a secondary stage of birth control kicks in...preventing implantation. It is called an abortifacient as it causes abortion to occur. Also, abstinence is against natural law(the law they cite in the bible regarding homosexuality) so abstaining in a marriage is not allowed either. Neither is pulling out, anal sex, oral sex or masturbation because it deposits sperm in places that cannot cause pregnancy. THIS is the law of christians, and you cannot pick and choose which part you follow. EDIT脩 you asked has also murdered babies, since she cannot guarantee that conception did not occur when she used birth control. Unless it is OK for her to kill her babies... Source(s): these are not my beliefs, I just took the time to look into the other side. I don't know. I am not in favor of giving them to kids though. If you are not ready to have kids or mature enough to face consequences of actions, then you are not ready. Hence the stupid liberal population I agree with you, but for some people, the act of having sex or making love is soley for the purpose of producing children, and the idea that some may be having sex just for fun is the reason they could be against birth control. Its seen as playing with the way things would be naturally... psh yeah, just swallow sarcasm |
