Yaz birth control pill didn't work for me, any suggestions as to what to try next?

Here is some background information on me. I am 36 almost 37 years old and have had 2 surgeries for endometriosis in the past. My husband and I both have fertility issues and probably don't even need birth control but I am obsessive-compulsive so for my peace of mind I feel better using some form of birth control. We were using diaphragm alternating with condoms, but that took the spontaneity out of our sex life so we decided it was time to try something else.

I was put on YAZ to help balance my hormones to prevent some troublesome spotting throughout the month, and not have periods. Some months I would spot lightly for 10 days which is just plain aggravating One month my period would be average then the next month horrible so I never knew what to expect.

Within the first 2 weeks, I had two separate episodes where my pulse dropped very low. Once to 60 and once to 58, my blood pressure was normal. I researched and found YAZ can increase Potassium levels in the blood stream which explains that.
I would say I had light to average PMS before YAZ. Even thought YAZ is known to help women with PMDD it actually caused severe PMDD it in me after being on YAZ for almost two months .
My sex drive/interest has dropped to zero which isn鈥檛 normal for me. and I am having the sandpaper feeling associated with endometriosis. I was blessed to never have that symptom with my endometriosis before. The lubricant we were using had been discontinued and I have tried several others, I can鈥檛 use the new warming and tingling ones I am too sensitive, all I get is a burning sensation for 陆 hour.

Maybe I provided too much information, sorry if that is the case. My basic question is did this happen to anyone else and what did your doctor try you on next? Thank you for taking the time to read all of this and hopefully I will get some sincere answers.

ive been using the nuva ring for about...ehhh....two years or so, after having a TONof trouble with the pill and the patch. if you have normally heavy periods and try to skip one, youll most likely experience breakthrough with it, but thats the only problem ive had with it, and that was only once. you only have to think about it once a month and it really does make bleeding time shorter. oh, and i havent personally experienced any problems with arousel which was ALWAYS an issue with the pill
