I have had my hair permed the past two Mondays in a row. It did not take either time. The perm fell out even though I waited 3 days to wash each time. I have had my hair permed in the past and the only thing that is different now is that I am on the birth control pill. Is this why neither of the perms took?
I think it could be the bc. When I was in 7th grade, I got a perm. It was a year after I got my very first period, and it didn't take. The stylist told me the hormonal differences was the reason. So, in my opinion it could be the bc. Talk to your stylist, see what she says. Maybe she'll have suggestions.
