Do the birth control pills really work? |
Im so nervous about having no protection, as she wants to use the pill only... I hate it becuase if she did get pregnant she may want to keep it and i certainly don't need another problem in my life... Save the nippers for later i say. Im not worried about STD's as i can trust her enough. I know im gonna get either drunk or persuaded anyway. She will get her way. Look I understand that in a trusting relationship it becomes tempting and easier to dispense with using condoms... if she does respect you enough she will see that you are only trying to be mature and sensible; she should be grateful to have someone like you. My sister fell pregnant whilst using birth control tablets and though she was in a stable relationship and was taken aback but thrilled- that's not what you want. If you feel like you'll be pushed into doing what she wants anyway... is it maybe time to address the relationship?.. well, I do not want to freak you out, but they are not 100% safe. So if you want to be completely sure there will be no unplanned pregnancies, you should go double dutch and use a condom too. I'm on the birth control pill, I've been on it since December and have had regular unprotected sex with my partner with no trouble at all. The Pill is more effective on its own than using just a condom, which is all most people do. There's a 1% chance of pregnancy, as opposed to a 3% chance with condoms. As long as she takes it correctly she should be fine! yes.....i have been on birth control pills for 4 years now and i have never been pregnant i have been with the same man and we have never used a condom watch now i jinxed myself and im gunna get pregnant haha They're pretty effective, but nothing is 100% effective. If you don't feel comfortable, don't take the chance. as long as she uses them properly they are nealy a 100 per cent effective, but you need to do what you feel comfortable with. its good that you are trying to be responsible about it, a baby is nothing to just dismiss. pill's work but r only 99.9% effective, which means there is still a chance of getting this girl pregnant, i'd use a condom |
