If you miss birth control pills don't you ovulate?

I know missing one or maybe two isn't a big deal but missing more than 3 in the second week want that make you ovulate. And I have heard to wait 7 days or 14 which is right?

What you have read is correct waiting 7 to 14 days to have unprotected sex is best.

But in my own experiance I have missed more than 3 pills in a month and have not gotten pregnant, had 1 or 2 "maybe"....

I think it takes some time for you body to regulate again and ween off the hormones....everyone is different though and if you are at a point in your life where you cant or don't want to have a baby use protection for the next 2 weeks.
You might ovulate, you might not. You should call your doctor or pharmacist to find out what to do.
