How late is too late when missing a birth control pill??

I always take my pill on time.. but today I took it 30 minutes late..(I was at work & lost track..) will this put me at a higher risk to become pregnant?? Or is a half hour not really a big deal?? I know your supposed to take it at the same time.. but is there a window?

A half hour is fine, your suppose to take them within an hour of the time you usually take them each day.
you have a week...just like when you take your placebo pills..but 1/2 hr wont harm ya.
when u get pregnant
30 mins isnt going to matter hun depending on the pill it can be 3 to 12 hours. 3 hours for the mini pill 6 for some combined pills and 12 for the rest like loestrin 20 so dont worry hun x
A half hour won't harm you in anyway.
yeah within a few minutes doesnt really matter..

sometimes you can even take it the next day and still not worry... but its best to take it on time
Don't even spazz I would forget 2 days at a time sometimes and nothing ever happened granted I had been on the pill for quite a while 3-4 years. A half hour won't do anything at all. I know they tell you to take it at the same time everyday but that's just so you get into a routine and don't forget. As long as you take the pill even if it's a 1/2 hour late or a day late you should be ok.
