Do birth control pills boost your libido? |
i just got off the shot and the whole time i was on it i was never really "in the mood" but now that i've started taking bc pills i'm horny like all the time. i don't get it. is that normal? When I first started the BC Yasmin I was just like that. I think the adjusting hormone levels could have something to do with it. Some of my friends have been the same way with other pills, so you certainly aren't alone in this area. Which ones are you on as all of the ones ive tried have done the opposite and now i am having the jabs every three month i am in a foul mood most of the time with no reason for it but never but it down to my contraception. I'm on the pill and I have quite the opposite reaction. Whenever I go off it for whatever reason (period,etc) I'm alot hornier than when on it. Maybe the shot had a more concentrated dose of hormones than your pill does. Congrats! |
