Which birth control pill works best with least side effects? |
I got married last year and began taking birth control pills. One day I woke up with EXTREME pain in my pelvic area while I was taking the pill. The pains continued and i switched to another brand of pills. about 4 or 5 months later I decided to quit the pill. i no long use protection but now I'm getting pains AGAIN! These pain make me curl up into a ball and hurts to move when I get them. i saw a gyn. and she put me on diet and gave me Yazmin... are these pills any good? and are there other woman that have experienced these types of pains? (they are NOT craps) See a different gyn, who will actually explain to you what the pains are, and help you to do something about them, rather than just putting you on a freekin diet and shoving some more pills in your face, it doesnt sound like you have a very good gyno. I have experienced severe pain down there (bad enough that i couldnt get up or move either x_x) especially right after sex, it turns out that my uterus was retroverted and when i was having sex, his penis was to put it bluntly, bashing the crap out of my uterus. ow. Is it anything like that? well if u are still getting the pains and yu are not taking the pill than it i snot the pill! go see a doctor and use PROTECTION! u dont want to get pregnant when u are not ready Have you tried the NuvaRing? Has a very low dose of hormones that are constant. I love it! I am very sensitive to pills so this works great. Have not had any side effects at all. What did the dr. say the pain was from? I tried a lot of pills and I like the Yaz. But I am seasonally taking Yaz.. which means I take them for 3 straight months and then allow myself to have a period. This was recommended by my dr and I would not suggest it unless you Dr says it is okay. I really like the Yaz but I did notice my skin got a tiny bit drier. nuva ring is awesome call ur obgyn for details i loved it no side effects no wt gain no blotting I took Yasmin for years and didn't really have any problems with it...it put my blood pressure up ever so slightly, but nothing alarming..actually so slight that I was the only one who noticed it. It also cleared up some other problems I had like irregularity, spotting between periods, cramping, etc. It really made my cycle much more manageable...so yes, I'd say the pills are pretty good--but realize with pills, each person is different. I agree with those that say NuvaRing. Low dose hormonal ring that goes in your vagina for three weeks, then the fourth week its out for your period. low incidence of side effects (no one that i know thats on it has had ANY side effects, including myself), it also eliminates the need to remember to take a pill every day, which reduces human error and makes the birth control more effective. check it out, im sure your doctor will put you on a trial if you want it. |
