Anyone tried Seasonale birth control pills for perimenopausal symptoms?

I am almost 43 and I am having typical perimenopausal symptoms: prolonged, heavy, painful periods; awful mood swings; night sweats; trouble sleeping etc.... I read an article on Seasonale stating that it has been shown to be helpful with these symptoms. Does anyone have any experience using Seasonale for this purpose?

I have been on Jazmine (and now Jaz-it has lesser estrogine) for a bit now-about 6 months-LOVE IT! I am 47 and had one day a month where I literally could not leave the house due to heavy flow plus the other typical symtoms-I have been exercising regularly and my period is down to spotting with this. I have barely a cramp and my flashes are minimal-its like a miracle pill! I don't know about your particular pill but I bet you could compare them on webMD or such--
