How high does your blood pressure have to be before you can't take birth control pills safely?


Mine was 123/89(I was at the doctor for other reasons) Is that too high to take birth control pills?
Also, could being nervous and upset while at the doctors make it higher?

No, that isn't too high at all to take the pill. That is a decent BP by all means.

Also, YES, going to the doctor very commonly makes your BP go up as your are anxious, nervous... Mine ALWAYS goes up!

yea yours is fine but some times when u take birth control pills the blood pressure goes up from the birth control pills i know mine went up alot.
