Failed blood donations: should I go back? |
I've been trying to donate blood, and my record so far is three failed donations and one successful donation. I drank the same amount of fluids for all of them, my veins are just difficult. Once they couldn't get a vein at all, the other two times the blood stopped flowing halfway through. I don't mind making the attempt if it works 1/4 of the time, but I wonder if I'm wasting the time and resources of the blood donation place with such lousy veins. How often do I have to be successful for it to be worth it for them? tottally up to you. i have never given blood. a friend of mine gave blood every month. its jest a choice. |
