How long does it take to recover a pint of whole blood after donation?

Or after 'losing' a given amount of blood as a result of profound blood loss. Additionally, how much blood can a person 'lose' and still survive?

To recover completely, 100%, takes 56 days, at which point you're eligible to donate again.

If you're healthy, you'll feel fully recovered as soon as you replace the fluid loss and the pinprick in your elbow heals over.
about 6 pints i think
6 hours
3 pints and your in deep trouble.regaining blood loss about 6 weeks.
your body makes probaly about a half pint a day i think but they dont let you donate again for summit around 60 days for health and safety reasons, and your body can lose about 50% of yourblood(for an adult anyway)
