Do Jehovah Witnesses refuse their child a blood transfusion and let the child die without it? |
When a doctor says a child needs a blood transfusion and says the child will die without it, refusing the child the transfusion is obviously letting the child die. Yes and No. From what I have heard, yes. Maybe things have changed but they think that God will not like them or their child as much and judge them if this is allowed when the Bible supposedly says not to. It's a consciencious thing. "Better to lose your life on this side, then your salvation in the other." I hope more JW parents say,"my child is more important to me than anything else. This child is a gift and I won't give it back without a fight." what about the parents who let there children have transfusions and they die because of the blood that was bad. I rather listen to Jehovah God who know best. a friend of my had a triple bypass without blood and he is doing great Leviticus 17:10 We adhere to God's command first, to abstain from blood and that includes blood transfusion. We do and a great many are alive because of it. If it was not a dangerous practice, why is a new Texas hospital going blood transfusion FREE? Their announced aim is to go 95% transfusion free operations there. This is now the new trend. I have news for most of the haters out there. There are not that many Jehovah's Witnesses to make that big of a difference to change. I agree with what Vot said. NO THEY WONT LET THEIR CHILD OR ANYONE HAVE A BLOOD TRANSFUSOIN. THEY THINK THAT IT WILL MAKE THEM IMPURE AND SEND THEM TO ETERNAL DAMNATION OR ORTHERWISE KNOWN AS HELL AND IF THEY DONT THEY THINK THAT THEY WILL ENTER THE GATES OF HEAVEN. FOR YOU PEOPLE THAT ARE REALIGIOUS Yes. Unfortunately, we're still up to the ears in JWs What they refuse is blood products. There are other ways to treat severe blood loss, however they are not always effective and the patient will still often die. Jehovah witnesses do deny simple medical treatment and have let numerous kids die in the past!! they will continue to do so as pertaining to the false doctrine that ruins families and destroys |
