Would you take blood transfusion if it meant the difference between life and death?

One religion that i know of, don't believe in blood transfusion. Then again, there are pros and cons against taking others blood.

I don't take blood transfusions. God's word does tell you not to take blood. If you have a bible it's in Acts 15 : 28-29 & 21:25 ( I think thats how you spell it in english) In spanish is Hechos. I'm spanish speaking person so my bible is in spanish. But I believe thats how you pronounce it in English. Our own blood is sacred to God. The religion your talking about would be the Jehovah's witnesses.

I would. Religions don't save anyone. Jesus does, and in the Bible, when they refer to blood, it says not to "eat" blood, because at that time people used to do it because they were sacrificing animals to other gods, and they could eat almost everything of the animal, except the blood...it never talks about something that has to do with giving transfusions.

Yes, I would. I'm a donor too, and my partner in the past has received blood, without which she wouldn't be with me today.

I don't see the problem. If it meant death by not taking a transfusion, why refuse whatever chance a transfusion might offer?

without a doubt,n u don't get aids from blood transfusions cause you have 2 b tested for diseases before u can donate 2 the numb nuts who said they didn want aids

I've had 2.. So igive thanks to all people (especially a positive ppl) that donate blood!

of course, if your god honestly doesnt want you to have one, than your god doesnt beleive in life being precious! change your religion!! why would your God want you to die?? :S x

As a blood donor "o neg" I am of the opinion that anyone who refuses my gift of life is not worth his salt.

Bloods are screened for H.I.V etc so I'd take a chance (if I ever needed one again)
