Why would a blood transfusion be necessary for an Appendecomy? |
I had a blood transfusion in 1984 during an Appendectomy. The surgery took 3 hours. Does anyone know what went wrong or why I needed the transfusion? That is pretty strange, unless there was gangrene, and some intestine had to be cut out? |
