Is it always that an anemic mother will need a blood transfusion after giving birth?

No. It is not neccessary. It depends how delivery will go.
Better to get a good treatment before delivery. Modern medicine has a lot of effective drugs.

not for pregnant ladies because they will have to feed the baby their blood is different from ordinary ladies

i was anemic and i didn't get one, they just gave me iron pills, but then again the hospital i went to seems to be a little suspect at times!

i am not sure, my mother had a transfusion both times she gave birth. i guess it wont always cos every womans different
