Is it always that an anemic mother will need a blood transfusion after giving birth? |
Is it always that an anemic mother will need a blood transfusion after giving birth? No. It is not neccessary. It depends how delivery will go. not for pregnant ladies because they will have to feed the baby their blood is different from ordinary ladies i was anemic and i didn't get one, they just gave me iron pills, but then again the hospital i went to seems to be a little suspect at times! i am not sure, my mother had a transfusion both times she gave birth. i guess it wont always cos every womans different |
