JWs and blood transfusions? |
Children of Jehovah's Withnesses sometimes die because their parents religious beliefs are against allowing people to have blood transfusions. But what if it's nothing more than a test from God? To see if you'd place your own child, whom you are fully responsible for, before God? To see if you love the life of your child over your own desire to presumably please God? Perhaps God presents these situations as a test of love? Grey Tower's right, if Jehovah's Withnesses accept that blood transfusions are banned by God then it really does appear as though God has used a form emotional blackmail and should be regarded as evil. JWs provide the best of care for their children. There are alternatives to blood transfusions that JWs take advantage of. Blood transfusion are not an option because of what the Bible says at Acts 15:29 to "abstain from blood." There was just such a test in the Bible. God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son and Abraham's faith was such that he reckoned God could resurrect the boy, so he went ahead up to the point of raising the knife. Then God stopped him and provided a ram instead. There has only been one time when God required such a sacrifice - that of his own beloved Son, Jesus Christ. The Abraham event was a prophetic shadow of that. It would be the height of presumptousness for JWs, or any other people, to imagine God was calling them to do such a thing. There's a biblical reason for that: jw's are unaware that they belong to a freemasonic organisation and therefore worship a freemasonic god A 鈥淐ircular of Information鈥?prepared by three U.S. blood agencies states on its first page: 鈥淲ARNING: Because whole blood and blood components are made from human blood, they may carry a risk of transmitting infectious agents, eg, viruses. Careful donor selection and available laboratory tests do not eliminate the hazard.鈥?br>
After Jesus laid down his life as the perfect atoning sacrifice for sin, there was no longer any need for anyone to sacrifice anything to prove they loved God. God does not require our sacrifices. To suggest that refusing your child a blood transfusion is a test from God is not Biblical. Nowhere in the Bible does is say that parents have an obligation to refuse their children life-saving treatment. To suggest that allowing a blood transfusion means you place your own child before God is nothing short of emotional blackmail. To claim that do so means you love the life of your child more than you love God is downright wicked. Again the JW's get it wrong. they take this from old testament that they are not to eat blood of any animal. It had to do with the Jews and their sacrifices. This was also the law of the Jews. It was also the law, which has been fulfilled. They will quote you many verses and if you read all around and really study them you will find they are all wet. It's just another one of their attempts at interpreting the bible and getting it wrong as they do so many things. They believe that the soul is in the blood. But what to they care, when the body dies they say that the soul also dies. So what could make any difference. It's just plain stupid. Brainwashed by the "Almighty Watchtower"... thats totally wrong, It's silly from our point of view but for a Johovas Witness it's important to stick to their beliefs. "When under trial, let no one say: 鈥淚 am being tried by God.鈥?For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone." and what about the child why should they die because of some stupid religious belief there is no such thing as your soul when you die that is it well, my question then is if they dont believe in that do they believe in hand on healing done in the Name of Jesus Their blood policy is cruel i dont know if your theory is correct, but i do know that it clearly says in the bible that we are not to EAT blood, it doesnt say in there anywhere that we may not take blood transfusions, for God made it so we could help each other......and i actually know people who are JW who eat rare steak--so go figure... no! it is just a crazy notion, the only blood that matters is the blood that was shed to save us, along with the blood shed by our men to keep us free. Would you deny saving blood to a soldier, if you determined he was a JW? All that blood of man is, is the life there-of. It's nor about god they beleive the blood is the soul and contaminating it will keep the soul from heaven. A test of love???God is Love, not a demonic creature. |
