Autoimmune disorder - dogs blood transfusion?

My dog was diagnosed with AIHA last Monday and she got critically ill very very quickly.

She was given oxiglobin on Wednesday then a blood transfusion on Friday (half a litre)

She is a bit brighter since the blood transfusion but her gums are still very pale.

Her red blood cells had been down to 5, how long after the transfusion would you expect to see her gum to return to pink? (Is this the only visble sign that her red blood cell count is rising?)

http://www.hemopet.org/Her gums should have pinked up after the transfusion, her hemoglobin count should be up too.
Dr Dodd would be a good one to ask for a phone consult.

That is a very serious disorder, and I can see you are worried,
but this is a vet's question to answer. But I hope you get the right help and she recovers soon.
