Ask most doctors, they wont take blood themselves, and we are fully informed as well as our doctors, on safer, cleaner, effective methods to build blood back up and save our life even in emergencies. Jehovah Witnesses typically refuse red blood cells. Other blood products are by personal decision. So they may accept plasma or other components. My understanding is that your sins are sort of recorded in the blood, but I have nothing buy hearsay to back that one up on.
