Why do Jehovah Witnesses believe in organ transplants but not blood transfusion?

Both involve accepting body matter from a body that is not their own?

Because Acts 15:28, 29 says "Abstain from blood."

Bible is silent about organ transplants.

There is a place in the bible that says that the soul resides in blood, that is why most people don't drink or eat blood. That is what the Jehova's witnesses are on about. Does it count as drinking blood when eating meat? No. Does it count as getting blood when getting a transplant? No.
I am not a Jehova's witness, as my view is there believes are distorted (Purely my thoughts).
But still, my blood is my blood and I will not donate. Not because of the bible, believes or anything else but my own feelings.

They are two different things. Blood contains the soul of life and blood is no longer needed for transplants. It's not the material, but what is contained in it.

Now, why is it that only 10% of those refusing blood are JWs? This type of question is getting old and only relivant to those heavily invested in companies that profit from the storage and transport of blood.

Because they trust in the interpretations promulgated by the Watchtower society believing that Jehovah has inspired them with "more accurate" knowledge of what the Bible actually teaches.

You can't point out to them any discrepancies without being prepared for a lengthy and convoluted defense prepared ahead of time for them by members of the J.W. leadership that often involves violating the standard rules of interpretation that have been agreed upon by sound Biblical scholars and theologians.

Why do Christian Scientist neglect medical attention entirely? Why do Muslims think god "wants" you to kill an infidel? Why do pagans worship rocks and wood?

Why did Lucifer rebel against the Living God and be cast to the earth to "deceive the nations?

Because they have to follow the instruction of their organization or they are going to be either disfellowshiped or kicked out.

I have no idea.

They misunderstand the OT DIETARY LAWS, and think that this is in some way following those laws.

I think they seem kinda confused

because they are too dumb to know the difference.
