I need advice from someone that has been hospitalized due to anemia and has had blood transfusions?

What type of advice do you need? What type of anemia do you have? There are many different types of anemia and treatment is not the same for all of them.

I was hospitalized for 6 days and received 5 units of blood for autoimmune hemolytic anemia in 2004. You can email me any questions you have and I'll be happy to answer them if I can.

I have a two unit blood transfusion for a rare form of anaemia every 6 weeks so could possibly help you. what sort of information or advice do you need, and if you dont mind me asking, what anaemia is it that is being treated? email me if you have any questions or need any advice. good luck.
