For those who've had a breast augmentation....?

How much did you pay? and we're you satisfied? I'm trying to get a correlation between price and satisfaction.

To be more specific, I'm asking about an enlargement. I'm just trying to prepare myself for an average price before I start looking further into it. I do understand that satifaction is measured in many different ways, but I'd still like you to share your story if you are willing! And please do mention any complications you may have had. Thank You Much!!

Your correlation isn't going to work. First off, it's hard to quantify variables such as satisfaction. Also, there may be other variables that affect satisfaction, if someone went in before the surgery and they were self-conscious and hated their appearance, they may still feel the same way afterwards. You're also creating bias by asking people about price because some people may want to exaggerate price because they feel it may be an indicator of wealth or status. (I'm studying stats now...sorry to inflict this upon you)

Also, augmentation applies to both implants and reductions. It's also a vague term that encompasses boob lifts too (perky surgery without implants). Then the price also depends on the type of augmentation (how much was removed, were there complications, what technique was used etc). Also, the type of implant changes the price (size also influences price).

To actually answer your question. I have had a reduction. I am very satisfied because now I can buy shirts that actually fit! I can run too! I can jump on a trampoline without getting whacked in the face by boobs! I don't know the price though because it was a medical problem, therefore health care took care of it.

The price varies though. If you have to spend more time in the hospital due to complications, then you'll have to pay more money.
