Had breast augmentation 2 months ago, sharp pain at incision site...? |
I got breast augmentation 2 months ago (over the muscle/incision under), from a B to a DD. For about a week now my incision site has been painful. It feels sharp and throbbing and it comes and goes. I started working out and running about 2 weeks ago with no complications, and have not been using any chest muscles as instructed. I have followed all rules given. The stiches site isn't red o9r infected looking either. Is this normal? My doctor is off for the holiday. Any info would be great! I had my augmentation only 10 days ago! In my post-op appointment the other day, my plastic surgeon was explaining to me that all the throbs, jabs, sharp pains, zingers I am feeling is the displaced muscle, tissue, and nerve endings that are regenerating. He said I coudl feel this way up to 6 months post-op. |
