Does the fear of breast cancer itself? |
prevent you from having a mammogram? no-that would be self-defeating.whatever u might have,best to find out asap,to get best possible chance at being cured.and,if u dont have cancer,the test saves u from worrying that u do.so,not just with a mammogram,but any other test u might need,best to do it as quickly as possible.if u do have cancer and wait too long to get diagnosed,u could die!i kno something about this subject,as i had a suspicious ovarian mass removed 3 weeks ago.it was benign,luckily.we didnt kno what we were dealing with,so my dr,my family and i decided to schedule a laparoscopy right away.it was the right decision. I guess for some people in a way, because they're afraid of what the results may be, therefore people would be afraid to get the mammogram. So yes. |
