Is it true that if you wear a bra while your sleeping it will cause breast cancer? |
I usually wear cotton comfy bras. They don't have the metal thing at the bottom of the bra. So is it true that it will cause breast cancer? I'm 14 and i would like to know. Thanks Oh for goodness sakes..! Oh my gosh, I have never even heard this one. You have nothing to worry about, I also sleep with a cotton bra on night too. Believe me if sleeping with any kind of bra caused cancer, probably alot more woman would breast cancer right now. If you are still worried, then maybe you should just try sleeping without one on. At your age a good idea if your mom is ok with it, is to make an appointment with a gyno, and have a talk with her. She can give you FACTS about what your body is going through, and can put to rest teh myths that teenage girls pass on to each other. Sometimes its easier to get the facts from a doctor instead of your mom, and I know that Planned Parenthood is a good place to go. Its not only a place to talk about sex. The doctors there will talk to you about your body too. good luck! ummm... who in the hell told you that??? how could wearing a bra to sleep cause breast cancer??? to answer your question ...NOOOOO!!!!! if that were true almost every girl alive would have breast cancer... and im pretty sure most of them dont... sometimes i wear a bra to bed and nothing happens to me.... so if you want to keep wearing bras to bed then do I sleep with a very comfortable cotton sports bra on (that's not tight at all!) all the time. I can't stand the feeling of "letting the girls loose". I've been doing this since I was 10, i'm 17 now, and I have no cancer. You'll be perfectly fine =) I Do All The Time, I Actually Find It Weird When I Take My Bra Off, Unless Im Taking A Shower, Ive Been Doing It For A long Time, And So Has My Mom, Shes been doing It Sice she Was 9, and Shes 42 now And She has nothing But Non Slouchy Breasts!
