Can you get breast cancer from....?

putting your cellphone in your boobs?
like many of my friends and i put our cellphones in our bra when we dont have pockets
but one of them said that you could get breast cancer
,,she lies alot so idk if she was telling the truth or lieing..so can you??

well, my techer told this girl of coz she had her phone in the brest pocket of her shirt and she said that you can get breast cancer from it, its got something tto do if it rings or u get a text, the radition is giving off and it giveing u cancer

Well if you have ever seen the case where they put the pop corn in the middle with four cell phone around the corn and then they call all four phones at once and the corn pops. If you can believe that, it will make you wonder. It does me. If that is true, that is a sizable amount of microwave energy. Especially if you let the phone ring in there.

I wouldn't think so, though I have heard -stressing HEARD here- that you shouldn't keep a cellphone on your body, and not close to your heart. Putting your cell in your bra sound uncomfortable :( why don't you get a nice light purse/bag?

@David. Cell phones cooking eggs or popcorn are a hoax ;) I checked it out sometime ago. A lil googling can get you a long way :P

Well I have never had a patient like that , but if you go on spreading the word the medical schools are going to have to create a new specialty in radiology: cellphonologist. Some future MDs are sure going to like it. Get serious honey the radiation dose of one Xray is hundreds the POSSIBLE radiation of cells.

I think someones techer is teched and how am I going to pop my popcorn when I only have one cell phone?
