Chances of 15 year old male having breast cancer?

ok i've posted a question about this before, but i dont think i was convinced. this is causing me so much stress not knowing if this small bump in my right breast is cancer or just puberty doing its work. please if you have the slightest care, tell me what should be done.

oh and trust me, after my act test, i'm making my mom bring me to the doctor. i'm not about to die of cancer i didnt know about.

The chances of a 15 year old male getting breast cancer are as close to zero as makes no difference.

Men do get breast cancer, but fewer than 1% of those diagnosed with breast cancer are male. Most men diagnosed with it are over 60.

80% of all people diagnosed with breastcancer are over 50. It's rare in women under 40, fewer than 0.1% of women diagnosed are under 30, and it's almost unheard of in women under 25.

So you can see how unlikely it would be for a teenage male to have breast cancer

Most breast lumps in men are gynaecomastia, a button-like growth under the nipple and areola area that can be felt and is sometimes visible to the naked eye and occasionally it can be quite tender.

This increase in the amount of breast tissue is not a tumour and occurs due to changes in hormone balances at times like adolescence - your age in other words. It's not unusual and it's temporary.

This si almost certainly what you have; see your doctor for reassurance

First of all, you NEED to see a doctor. Is there a reason you are avoiding seeing the doctor? Trust me, the embarrassment of telling your parents or your doctor what is going on is soooooooo much better than not having the peace of mind that comes with knowing what the problem is.

With that said, it is very unlikely that you have a cancerous growth, and that it is most likely a cyst, what amounts to a completely harmless fluid filled sac. Get it checked out though, your doctor can tell you for sure.

Its sounds like you may be talking about a condition called Gynecomastia. If its behind your nipple area this can be very normal in young adolescent males.
It happened to both of my brothers, its due to the breast tissue slightly swelling getting ready for growth "of the breast" before your male hormones kick in and it will disappear. I know its sounds very strange and scary but dont worry your just a NORMAL growing boy and theres nothing you can do about it (or need to do about it) because it should go again after not too long.

Please read the attached website it will help you a lot. You can still see a doctor to help your mind relax, but i am quite sure they will say what i have told you

The more serious question that you should be asking yourself is: have you been lactating? 1.2% of young males in North America suffer from a rare disease called male-preggo. It involves swelling of the breasts, increased tenderness, and lack of logical reasoning. Unfortunately few doctors are aware of this disease, since it has recently been discovered by a team of physicians at John Hopkins University. As a practitioner myself, I strongly recommend that you consult your family doctor immediately. If untreated, the disease could cause irreversible damage resulting in abnormally large breasts and an immunity to logical reasoning.

Extremely unlikely, unless you have a VERY lengthy history of breast cancer in men AND women on both sides of your family.

If you are very concerned, I'd see a doctor and he'll likely be able to 'diagnose' your bump and assuage your fears. But in all likelihood you do not have breast cancer.

The odds against you having cancer are astronomical! You said it yourself. It's puberty doing it's work. You need to stop stressing over it. I was just reminded of what you are thinking by this saying: "So scared of dying, you forget about how to live". You aren't dying of breast cancer.

There should never be a lump in your breast, unless it's like a pimple or something along that lines, to make sure it isn't a pimple rub pimple medicine on it, if it doesn't decrease in size in 2-3 days tell your parents and go visit a doctor.

males have less breast tissue then women do which narrows down the chances of having breast cancer. it is a very rare that you could have it, but if you still feel uneasy about it go see a doctor.

yes it is as much as possible as a woman having or getting breast cancer.

only like 2% of all breast cancer is in males. you should get it checked out though.

Pretty much 0%.

VISIT THE DOCTOR OMG WAT IF IT IS THEN ULL BE EVEN MORE STRESSED!!!!!!

talk to a doc. im not a MD. SO I WONT KNOW

go to a doctor and ask then
