What (with breasts)is considered reconstruction and what is cosmetic? |
surgery wise? i would guess that cosmetic is changing the size, either enlarging or reducing them and reconstruction would be used after a breast has been disfigured due to cancer or an accident or something that changes the normal shape of it. When a woman has a mastectomy then its reconstruction to have implants where there would be nothing. Anything else is cosmetic. |
