For those who have had a breast reduction...?

How much did your surgery cost? Are you able to breastfeed after you've had one? Do your breast get larger again during a pregnancy?

$8,000 all of it covered by insurance.

Unknown right now, but check out http://www.bfar.org you CAN breastfeed after a reduction.

As far as breasts growing back after pregnancy, its really 50/50. Depending on how good your PS is, and how much they took out, what they took out, you may not be larger after pregnancy, or you may grow after pregnancy.

i had a reduction done when i was 20, it was covered by ohip, here in ontario canada. mine was covered because it was contributing to my back and shoulder pain. i wish i had waited. I couldnt get enough milk in to breast feed, I had some, but not enough to have the hassel of breast feeding and then supplementing. My breasts are not as big as they were, but they are bigger.
