Breast reduction surgery and liposuction? |
I had liposuction and breast reduction surgery done at the same time. It is now approaching 1 year since the surgery and my nipples are still numb as well as the bottom part of my stomach (liposuction site). Is that normal? Will I regain feeling in my nipples? How long does it take? It can take up to or over a year to fully heal from a reduction. It depends on the person. My fiance had one in Dec 07 and she had sensation as soon as the surgery was over. It actually made things worse because she had felt all the pain and if she got cold or anything it hurt. But to answer your question, it depends on the person. Some take a year or more and some take no time at all. Some women never regain sensation in their nipples. Not sure about the stomach. I would definitely recommend seeing the plastic surgeon because he/she will be able to give you a more deefinite answer. i say u should go see ure plastic surgeon ASAP coz i dont think thats normal not to have feeling in those areas |
