Two part question....... Would health insurance pay for breast reduction if it caused back problems? |
Is is possible that a slender woman {say 4 ft 11 1/2 who weighs 100 pds, in her 40's} could possibly have lower back problems due to excess belly fat from having two children? Would insurance pay for a tummy tuck? They will pay for the breast reduction if the doctor says it's medically necessary. They will not pay for a tummy tuck. With your breasts, there really is no way to make them smaller if it's all breast tissue, and not a lot of fat. They require surgery. With your stomach, all it requires is hard work and exercise to get it smaller. They will not pay for a tummy tuck because there are alternative ways to treat it that don't require surgery. They will pay for a breast reduction if it is absolutely causing back problems. Mine paid for mine. As for the tummy tuck, absolutely not. the breast reduction sounds feasible,,, but the tummy tuck?? how about asking them to fund a facelift as well! |
