I'm 14 and thinking of breast reduction.? |
I'm a fourteen year old girl, I'll be 15 just after christmas. That size has to be a problem for anyone, especially a 14 yr old. Losing some weight will help, but don't go overboard. Sounds like this trait runs in your family. You can also dress to help hide their size. Look at the fashion of plus size women. Although you are young, this could be a medical concern. If you can't talk to your parents, then a school nurse, or gym teacher. That size will put a strain on your back and cause permanent damage. I think at 14 you are too young to have the reduction as your body is still growing. I think when you stop growing a reduction would be a good thing, I had one and was thrilled with the results. In the meantime you should look for some minimizing bras that will help some. It's hard but just ignore the kids when they make fun of you. Some people do lose in their breasts when they diet so see how that works for you. NOOO WAY HOSSSAYY!! Love your body, if thats what you have then lucky you. Dont get them reduce until you are sure because the chance are you could regret it at a later age. Experiment with different bra's see wich ones make them look better. Im sure the girls would kill to have your boobs and are just jelouss. And the boys will secretly love it. When people comment about them dont respond or smile to your self. It sounds like you are a healthy weight, so your only option would be breast reduction, which can be covered by insurance, especially if you have back pain. i think the dr will do it if there is bra strap groving and back pain. i would talk to ur mom and the dr i think u should go for it if u really want it I think that at your age they will not perform a reduction on you nowadays because you are still growing. You have to be fully grown before they will consider it. Another thing to think about is that once you have this done you cannot breast feed your babies if that is something you want to do. I have a daughter-in-law who had the reduction done and this is what the doctor was telling her. |
