I wear a 36DDD, I want a breast reduction, should I get it?

Ok for one I'm 15, turning 16 May 8th.
I play basketball and run track and play soccer, so it's not "fat", I almost have abs(I really want some :P)!!
The other day at practice, my sports bra started digging into my side and it hit me that I am really sick and tired of these things.
Then I realized that they are only going to get bigger!!
I don't want to be 18 in a size 36FF or something crazy like that!
Would they even let me get a breast reduction at 16?
I'm like serious about this too!!!
Should I get a breast reduction or just wait it out?

One day you'll be thankful you have them. Trust me on this.

From personal experience, my aunt had her breasts reduced when she was 42 and hers grew back even larger than they were before the surgery. Now she has stretched out scars underneath her breasts. I would definitely wait it out though because you're most likely not done growing yet. I know they suck now but you'll get used to them eventually.

Yes i think you should, even with a breast reduction they will still grow a bit later so if you decide you want them bigger than they will still grow a little bit, maybe get reduced to just a D cup, with them out of the way you'll be able to run and play sport much more freely. and you want to exercise more so you'll get those abs!

I am the same size i really think you should wait, my aunt got it done and they dont look good and now has scars. I know they suck, but I really think you should leave your body alone.

Wait it out. You have no idea how many people are jealous of you.

It'll be better for you. You need parent consent of course though.

If you get your parent's permission and can get the money you should be able to get a breast reduction. The longer you wait, the more potential you have for certain problems to develop, especially back problems. So as long as you're absolutely SURE that you want this, I would go ahead and do it. Just make sure you're not rushing into the decision. Take your time, do a little research if you haven't already, talk to a doctor about it, and then once you're fully informed you can choose what you think is best. Hopefully this way you won't have any regrets. I hope it works out for you!

heres what you have to do. my best friend just got this done. you need to go to a surgeon and see what size they could put you at. how much it would be and all that. see what they can do for you. then ask your insurance company (health insurance). if they approve, then go back to the surgeon and come up with a day. plus, she told me she doesnt have any scars.
*her mother got this done too and said she liked her results.

they would let you, just find out how much. i'm sure you will be able to get it done especially since its a health risk. you could end up with serious back problems. so talk to your mom and then search for a surgeon. make sure you talk to the surgeon before you talk to your insurance company though. you cant just say i wanna get a breast reduction, can i? you gotta have information.

and i wouldnt wait too long. it will hurt you more and more. my best friend went from a DD to a C and she loves it. we can finally share clothes because i'm a high B. it will be worth it, i promise.

also. larues lady, she must not have gotten the reduction, because after you get it, your breasts cant grow back like that. especially if she is 40+. your body stops growing after your 20.

best answer? :]
